How’s that for a Range Rover bulletproof limo?April 27, 2020
The tuning company Klassen decided to make a bulletproof limousine out of a Range Rover SUV. The most expensive version of this car will cost 750,000 euros.
We know Klassen as a company that “turns” Mercedes-Benz and Maybach cars from already luxury cars into much more expensive cars that are intended for use in government. One such example is the V-Class, turned into a luxurious S-Class minivan.
However, the German tuner is not limited to Stuttgart brands. Among its catalog are such premium brands as Lexus, Bentley, Rolls-Royce, and this Land Rover Ranger Rover SUV in the original most luxurious standard Autobiography. Now this is a hefty limo.
As you can see, the guys from Klassen have greatly increased the wheelbase of the British Range Rover so that additional space appears in the cabin.
The added length is 1 016 mm, despite the fact that the total length of the SUV-limousine is now equal to 6,215 mm, while the length of the wheelbase has been increased to 4136 mm. Thanks to this, the Range Rover limousine gets enough space in the cabin for four luxurious seats.
But the best thing about the Klassen Range Rover limousine is not limited to its “stretched” body. The whole car has a VR8 armor level that can withstand bullets of 7.62 mm caliber fired from a distance of 10 meters. Moreover, the car is also equipped with a set of bulletproof tires developed by Klasse, which guarantee a ride (if hit in wheels) at speeds up to 80 kilometers per hour for 80 km.
Of course, like any other Klassen-modified car, the Range Rover XXL’s bulletproof limo is not cheap. The most expensive version of this car will cost 750,000 euros.
