How do you like this version of the Pontiac Aztek in the back of the Chevy Trailblazer?October 5, 2020
An independent artist presented his vision of the American crossover Pontiac Aztek. The virtual novelty received a body from the popular mid-size crossover Chevy Trailblazer.
Long before crossovers and SUVs became hugely popular around the world and various automakers began to sell them in record numbers, the American company Pontiac developed an experimental Aztek model. This is exactly the crossover that, over the years, will earn the status of one of the ugliest cars in history.
Independent artist wb.artist20 shared his vision of how this vehicle might look these days – he published his creation on the social network Instagram.
In his opinion, the Aztek mid-size crossover could be more attractive than the version that was created by designer Tom Peters.
The main feature of this virtual performance of the Pontiac Aztek is the fact that another American crossover, the Chevrolet Trailblazer, was chosen as the basis, which is currently very popular. There is not much visual similarity between the two crossovers, but if you look closely, you will notice that there is actually a connection between them and it is quite noticeable. Take, for example, the dual-row headlights in the front or the massive C-pillar on the same Trailblazer – it reminds us of the Aztek rear side window.
With some design touches including redesigned headlights and the addition of the mentioned window, the Trailblazer inherits the spirit of the original Pontiac Aztek.
Not so long ago, AutoTimesNews wrote about a very stylish version of the Pontiac Aztek crossover. Foreign artists presented their vision of what the mid-size Pontiac Aztek crossover should actually look like.
