Honda XR-V updated crossover added powerMarch 19, 2019
The restyled SUV is already sold in Europe, the USA and South America, but the cross-country market will only be launched to the Chinese market.
The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Trade declassified the updated Honda XR-V crossover: recently the photos of the novelty were published on the ministry’s website. After the upgrade, the model acquired new bumpers, a modified grille, and also extended foglights. There is no information about alterations in the cabin, however, experts are confident that the manufacturer did not radically change the interior of his car.
Interestingly, the Honda HR-V (or Vezel for the Japanese market), which was based on the platform of the Jazz model, went through a restyling last year, but the updated Honda XR-V (HR-V clone) only gets to China this year. But motorists in the USA, Europe and South America are already testing the novelty.
The crossover not only got a “refreshed” exterior, but also became more powerful. The SUV engine range now includes a 177-horsepower 1.5-liter turbocharger. Previously, the “senior” motor issued 136 horses. That it will replace the new power unit. The former one and a half liter engine with a capacity of 131 hp will keep its place. The cost of the basic version of the Honda XR-V 2019 is expected to be 128 thousand yuan
Meanwhile, the Toyota Corolla was put up for auction with an engine power of more than 1,000 “horses”. The model belonged to the 2015 World Drift Champion Fredrik Aasbo.
