Honda updates N-BOXOctober 8, 2019
The car receives more advanced electronics and updated active safety systems. The composition of the complete sets has been expanded; the interior trim has been improved at some levels.
The most popular key car in Japan and in absolute terms the best-selling car in the domestic market is the Honda N-BOX. The car receives minor improvements, but even they will strengthen the position of the minicar, which tops the list of sales in Japan over the past 25 months with a significant margin from competitors.
The car gets a more advanced rear view camera. Until now, it had a resolution of 0.3 megapixels, and now – 1 megapixel. The resulting image is sharper. The Honda SENSING complex has been modernized. The automatic braking system allows you to detect pedestrians and cyclists in the dark on the streets without lighting.
Vehicle equipment expanded. So far, the driver and front passenger seat heating has been installed only in all-wheel drive versions, now in any. The same applies to the armrests – the rear center and two independent front. Previously, they were present only in versions with a turbo engine, now they are everywhere. In some trim levels (N-BOX Custom (G / L Turbo Honda SENSING, G / EX Turbo Honda SENSING)), the CVT selector is trimmed with leather.
Outside, the car has not changed after modernization. The engine is the same – a 0.66-liter 3-cylinder in versions with and without turbocharging. Transmission – CVT, drive – front or full in any configuration.
The cost of the Honda N-BOX in Japan is 1,411,300 – 1,926,100 yen. The purchase of the N-BOX Custom version will cost 1,746,800 – 2,129,600 yen. This model is sold only in the domestic market.
