Honda unveils new compact crossover WR-VOctober 18, 2016
Honda has released a teaser of the new compact crossover, called WR-V, which in some markets will be able to compete for buyers with Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Photos published by representatives of Honda’s Brazilian unit.
As explained by the automaker, the name of the new model stands for Winsome Runabout Vehicle. The novelty has been developed specifically for the Latin American market in the first place – in Brazil, and, according to the calculations of Honda, it is popular among those who like to combine practicality with an active lifestyle.
But any technical information about Honda WR-V manufacturer not named. We do not know what engines will receive a new crossover, or if he has all-wheel drive system, or the amount of ground clearance. One can only assume that the engine range will be unified with the Honda Jazz / Fit, which enjoys strong demand in Brazil.
The style of WR-V resembles the HR-V, however, in the company’s model line new product will take place on the stage below this crossover.
The car has received an aggressive interior, a small grille, roof rails and LED optics.
