Honda technically upgrades its Gold Wing tourerOctober 26, 2019
By 2020, the motorcycle version received a number of technical changes for greater comfort and better sensitivity on the roads at low speeds. At the same time, the appearance has completely remained the same. Soon, he will receive even a second USB port.
In fact, it would be strange to wait for any design innovations of the new Gold Wing, because it debuted in 2018. However, technically it has become more refined and comfortable. First of all, Honda revised the fuel injection system and ignition, as well as a robotic seven-speed DCT gearbox with two clutches. This is necessary in order for the motorcycle to feel more confident on the road in conditions of movement at low speeds.
“The DCT was significantly optimized to improve maneuverability at ultra-low speeds, and the close gear ratios made it possible to almost completely eliminate the effect of a jerk – shock load when shifting gears. At higher speeds, the algorithms have been optimized to reduce engine speed. In both cases, the gearshift quality is significantly improved. ” – as the manufacturer says.
This version of the tourer has also been optimized suspension. And by 2020, Gold Wing will also have a second USB port. The change is slight, but very pleasant.
We previously reported that Honda could soon revive the Deauville motorcycle. The release of the new Honda NT1000V Deauville company, unfortunately, has not yet been disclosed.
