Honda showed the sports version of the crossover HR-VSeptember 10, 2019
The price tag of the Japanese novelty is comparable to the larger Honda CR-V crossover, which starts at £ 25,995 ($ 33,925) in the S base class and £ 27,865 ($ 36,365) in the SE model. However, this can be explained by a richer list of HR-V Sport equipment, which is equipped with a more powerful engine.
The HR-V Sport is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 182 hp, while the CR-V is powered by a 173 hp engine. The small SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.8 seconds and has a top speed of 216 km / h, while the average fuel consumption is estimated at 5.9 liters per 100 km in the WLTP standard.
The exterior of the Honda HR-V Sport stands out thanks to darkened accents, an asymmetrical front splitter, wheel arch moldings, a special design for the rear bumper and darkened taillights. Inside, new front seats are installed with black and dark red leather, as well as a black roof.
In addition, LED lighting and a 7-inch Garmin infotainment and navigation touchscreen are standard equipment. Like the rest of the HR-V line, Sport is equipped with a Honda Sensing assistant package that includes lane keeping assistance, oncoming lane departure control, mitigation when leaving the road, braking in the event of a collision, warning of a direct collision, adaptive cruise control and more.
