Honda S2000 sold almost without mileage for the price of a Porsche 911September 23, 2019
The car has never been registered
At an online auction site, eBay sells a Honda S2000 roadster with a mileage of just 153 kilometers. For the car of 2009, the seller wants to get 99 thousand dollars. For comparison, the price of a Porsche 911 Carrera in the United States is $ 91,100.
The vehicle for sale is in excellent condition and has never been registered. The roadster is painted in the original Berlina Black color, combined with a black interior, equipped with xenon headlights, air conditioning, electric tailgate, cruise control and a multimedia system with eight speakers.
It seems that they tried to sell this car at the beginning of the year at a price half that of what is now declared.
Under the hood of the S2000, an in-line four-cylinder engine of two liters is installed, giving out 241 horsepower and 206 Nm of torque. It is coupled with a six-speed manual transmission, which transfers traction to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. According to the passport, such a car can accelerate to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and reach a maximum of 240 kilometers per hour.
Earlier, at the event in Japan dedicated to the anniversary of the S2000, perhaps the strangest modification of the roadster in history was noticed. A car with a transparent body was built for exhibitions to visually show visitors how all its components work.
