Honda released photos of Honda OdysseySeptember 28, 2020
The Japanese automaker publishes new footage of the restyled Honda Odyssey. Today, not only are new photos of the front of the minivan presented, but also the first image of the modified rear.
Honda is set to unveil an updated version of the Odyssey, which is primarily targeted at the Japanese and Asian markets. The current generation of the large MPV has been on the list since 2013 and will receive at least a redesigned front fascia, the design of which is already known from previously published photos, and a redesigned rear.
More than 4.8 meters long, the Odyssey gets different headlights, a wider radiator grille and a new front bumper that define the appearance of the minivan. At the rear, the Odyssey has received new lights that are now “more horizontal” and almost repeat the corporate style of BMW. A chrome strip extending across the entire width of the rear into the lights connects the rear light units. Honda has fitted the Odyssey with a revised rear bumper, although there are not many differences from the current one.
The Honda Odyssey also received an updated interior that includes a revised instrument panel with revised air vents and digital gauges, as well as a new steering wheel. In addition, sliding doors can now be opened by swiping over the sensor. The debut date of the closest competitor of such minivans as Kia Carnival / Sedona, Nissan Serena and Toyota Alphard / Vellfire, Honda will announce a little later.
