Honda invented sensory technology window tintingNovember 6, 2016
Japanese engineers invented touch control technology “shadow” on the glass. To darken a specific area of the glass to hold enough for your finger from top to bottom. This is useful if, for example, you need to darken the upper part of the windshield, or “tight” toned it. The same can be done with the door and windows. Regardless of the position of the sun driver and passengers will always be protected from direct rays. However, there are drawbacks in the form of a divorce from the fingers.
It is unknown whether this technology will find application in a production car, and how expensive it will cost.
