Honda’s Japanese all-electric crossover is called the Everus VE-1.
Back in April, the Japanese company Honda introduced the all-electric concept of a crossover based on the HR-V model. Now it became known that the well-known automaker has entered into an agreement with the Chinese company GAC. Under this agreement, the serial version of the Honda Everus VE-1 will be delivered to the automotive market of the Middle Kingdom.
The new crossover was shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show (China).
It is reported that VE-1 will use a 53.6 kWh battery – according to Honda brand representatives, this is enough to overcome about 340 km of the way. Changes were carried out according to the NEDC cycle. A single electric motor crossover is designed for a power of 163 hp, and the maximum torque is 280 Nm.
Externally, the all-electric crossover will be quite similar to the Honda HR-V. Honda Everus VE-1 will be able to offer the driver three different driving modes: “normal”, “battery saving” and “Sport”. The overall dimensions of the Japanese novelty are as follows: the length is 4,308 mm, the width is 1,824 mm, and the height is 1,625 mm. The value of the wheelbase is 2 610 mm.
