Honda introduced an updated hybrid CR-V for EuropeSeptember 27, 2018
Honda introduced an updated version of the hybrid cross-over CR-V for the European market. The public premiere of the car will take place in early October within the framework of the Paris Motor Show.
The power unit of the novelty included a two-liter petrol engine, working in tandem with an electric motor. In total, the aggregates produce 184 hp and 315 Nm of torque. For the crossover three driving modes are provided: combined, exclusively on electric traction and only with the help of an internal combustion engine.
The company claims that the crossover has received a “smart” switching system between modes, which ensures maximum fuel economy. So, when driving at moderate speeds, the electric motor works more than half the time from the entire trip, whereas when driving on a high-speed route it is connected less often.
Honda CR-V will be available with both front and all-wheel drive. In the first case, the declared fuel consumption was 5.3 liters per 100 km of run in a mixed cycle, and in the second – 5.5 liters.
In addition to the updated hybrid CR-V, Honda will present at the Paris Motor Show an updated crossover HR-V, as well as a special version of the “charged” hatchback Civic Type R called ArtCar Manga.
