Honda introduced a new electro-cross Everus VE-1November 17, 2018
Electrification is increasingly taking over the international market. Each manufacturer already has, or is developing its own model with an electric motor, and Honda introduced a new SUV with an affordable price tag.
Honda Everus VE-1 is a new model from the Japanese brand with a fully electric power unit. Compact crossover will represent the average price segment. The official debut was held at the auto show in Guangzhou, China, where it will be sold. The release will be arranged at a joint venture of Honda and GAC, which produced cars under the Everus brand.
Recall that the Everus was created in 2008, and until 2014 produced the only model sedan S1. In fact, it was turned into a Honda City sedan. Mark was revived in the spring of 2018, then Honda and the GAC presented the concept of Everus EV, which became the forerunner of VE-1.
The electric car is based on the HR-V platform of the current version, and has a similar design. Moreover, the interior design does not differ from the donor, except for the presence of blue decorative inserts. Under the hood is an electric motor with a capacity of up to 163 horsepower. The drive is exclusively front with a power reserve of about 340 km / h.
Meanwhile, Honda introduced an updated version of the sporty Civic Type R. The model relating to the 2019 model year received some stylistic changes with the previous filling.
