Honda has unveiled the updated crossover UR-V
May 30, 2020The Honda Avancier and Honda UR-V models are the formal heirs of the not-so-successful Crosstour crossover, which is available only in the Chinese market. Moreover, the debut of the models took place with a difference of one year, but the planned update was experienced almost simultaneously: the restyled Avancier was shown in March, and now the Honda UR-V has come.
Externally, the model has undergone changes standard for facelifting: the front optics have remained untouched, but the taillights now have an integrated chrome strip across the entire width of the body. Also, bumpers have undergone a change. In fact, this is the fourth styling option for the same car.
The cabin also has not changed dramatically. Although the multimedia complex is new and has an 8-inch touchscreen tilt adjustment in a small range. The top performance of the Honda UR-V boasts a leather interior, three-zone climate control, a panoramic roof, an active noise reduction system and much more.
In technical terms, no restyling brought any changes. Base 1.5-liter engine with 193 hp it is aggregated only with a variator and front-wheel drive. Top-end 2.0-liter turbo unit at 272 hp combined with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and such crossovers for an extra charge can have four-wheel drive.
Sales of the updated Honda UR-V will start in June, but only in China. Here, the cost of the model will be 35 thousand dollars.
