Honda has published the first teaser of the new Honda Jazz / FitOctober 16, 2019
The official debut of the new items will take place exactly one week later.
With the launch of the all-new Toyota Yaris, Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa and Renault Clio this year, it’s safe to say that the European compact segment is evolving. Honda will introduce a new generation of its Jazz hatchback, known in some markets as Fit, on October 23 at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan. Meanwhile, an advertising campaign is starting today – the automaker has released the first shot of the novelty, which depicts the silhouette of a hatchback.
Although at first you can say that from a design point of view this is not so, spy shots of disguised prototypes have shown that a small hatchback will undergo many changes in style. The overall shape will be more rounded compared to the previous model, and the LED headlights will be completely redesigned – they will become much larger than those that we used to see. Rear vertical taillights will be replaced with horizontal optics extending to the rear door.
Honda does not want to disclose additional information about the fourth generation Jazz, but reiterates that the model will be offered in Europe exclusively with a hybrid powerplant. The car was “redesigned with a reserve for passengers” and will receive improvements in terms of “comfort and pleasure.”
In connection with the Jazz debut in Tokyo next week, Honda will preview in Amsterdam next week to share more details about the company’s electrification plans in Europe.
