The company has developed a new version of its ultra-fast lawnmower called Mean Mower. Also, the partner of the Japanese brand – British Touring Car Championship Team Dynamics took part in the project. The company has already announced that the novelty is the fastest lawnmower in the world, which should beat the record of the previous Honda model. It is expected that Mean Mower V2 will be able to accelerate on the track to 241 km / h.
The novelty is equipped with a 1.0-liter gasoline engine. The same unit is installed on the motorcycle Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP. The engine produces 190 hp. The motor works together with a six-speed transmission.
To reduce weight many of the details of Mean Mower V2 were printed using a 3D printer. Thus, the mass of the lawn mower is only 69.1 kg. The ratio of power to weight reaches 1,000 hp / t. Also, the Mean Mower V2 boasts a color display on the dashboard.
The Mean Mower V2 is equipped with 10-inch wheel disks, shod in the tires of Hoosier. Also, the lawnmower received four-piston calipers in front and six – behind.
Pilot Mean Mower V2 on the track will be 23-year-old driver Jesse Hawkins, who is a member of the car show Fast & Furious. The exact date of arrival is still unknown. The company stressed that the superfast lawn mower is already undergoing all the necessary tests.
