Honda has officially announced the launch of sales of a new crossover with the name Breeze. The model is a fairly accurate analogue of the CR-V model for the global market in the current generation. In the technical part, they are almost twins, but in the design part there are serious changes. From the photographs, the completely revised design of the front and rear with new bumpers, new optics, a radiator grill, as well as another body kit can be noted.
Dimensions are comparable to the original and are: length – 4 634 mm, width – 1 855 mm, height – 1 679 mm, with a wheelbase of 2 661 mm. As a power unit, a 1.5-liter turbo engine is offered, capable of developing up to 195 horsepower. Paired with it, a five-speed mechanical transmission or variator is aggregated. A hybrid version with an atmospheric 2.0-liter engine is also available, paired with two electric motors with a total power of up to 215 hp.
In the interior, one can note a multi-function steering wheel, a dashboard with a digital screen, a touch screen multimedia system, a gear knob in the center console, several trim options, as well as airbags (from 2 to 8).
Sales began on November 29, 2019 in China. Sale in other countries is not planned.
