Australian Muscle Car Sales has posted an Australian production year 1977 Holden LX Torana SLR500 with option A9X.
This car is equipped with a 5.0 liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with a capacity of over 220 hp. Other versions of Torana were equipped with this engine, but the A9X option was offered only for the SLR 5000 sedan and SS hatchback and added rear disc brakes, heavy-duty axles and much more.
The car put up for sale had four owners. As follows from the description for the ad, the car has the original engine, transmission and differential, while the Rochester carburetor, cast iron manifolds and radiator are in excellent condition. Along with this, the car has original A9X GMH Rally wheels with Goodyear DR 70 tires.
Based on the pictures, the exterior and interior are in excellent condition. In turn, in the luggage compartment it is worth noting the presence of the original cover and “spare wheel”.
Holden is asking for AU $ 425,000 when it appears on sale. For comparison’s sake, a new BMW M3 starts at AU $ 144,900 in Australia, which means that three new German cars can be purchased for almost the same amount.
