Himalaya Specter Defender received a limited editionSeptember 2, 2019
Tuners from Himalaya have been finalizing Land Rover Defender for years. Their new SUV is based on the villain of the James Bond movie.
This time around, the tuners introduced the Specter Defender, inspired by a James Bond movie called The Phantom (hence the name of the brutal SUV). The novelty will be released in a limited edition, and its cost will start at around $ 250,000. Before starting work on the project, experts waited for the frames straight from the UK. Then it was strengthened and galvanized to protect it from corrosion. Specter Defender itself eventually got a pickup truck.
Under the hood of such a car is the 525-horsepower LS3 GM motor. Also available for purchase are the 2.8-liter Cummins turbodiesel and LS3 with a Whipple supercharger. The “base” power unit is combined with 6AKPP and all-wheel drive system.
Also, a modified Defender relies on a four-inch lifting kit, huge 37-inch tires and Fox Racing remote control shock absorbers. The Specter Defender owes its braking system to Wilwood, and the steering box to the Jeep Wrangler JK. The interior of the car was decorated using leather and Alcantara, and the Recaro seats were equipped with a heating function. Also for the Himalaya Specter Defender they chose the Kenwood audio system and JL Audio speakers, the Momo steering wheel, LED lighting, etc.
