Here is the most brutal off-road motor homeMarch 22, 2019
The cost of a camper reaches half a million dollars.
The American company Global Expedition Vehicles (GXV) has built a very brutal mobile home, on which you can move even in heavy off-road conditions. The car, named Patagonia, will cost at least $ 465,000.
The mobile home is based on the Kenworth K370 (an option is available on the chassis of the Mercedes-Benz Unimog off-road truck as an option). The length of the machine reaches 5.3 meters; however, using other platforms, it may increase to 8.8 meters. The width of the house on wheels is 2.4 meters, and the height – 2.1 meters.
The body panels of the car are made of fiberglass-reinforced composite, and the cabin has a full double bed, a bathroom (total water supply is 510 liters), a kitchen with granite worktops and a dining area, which if necessary turns into an extra bedroom, as well as a Kenwood audio system, LED TV, Bose home cinema, satellite TV system,
The windows of the car are made specifically for expeditionary off-road vehicles, effectively keeping heat, and the doors are equipped with steel security locks. Solar panels are installed on the roof, and in the parking lot the air conditioning system is powered by a separate diesel generator.
For the car, you can order the front and rear winch, the installation of additional fuel tanks and roof racks, a microbiological water filter and special equipment for arranging the barbecue area outside the house.
