Atelier Hennessey began the modernization of cars in 1991 and until this moment the Texas firm “delivered” to the order of 6 500 000 horsepower, if we take that the average power of each tuned car was over 650 hp. That is, the company launches the Heritage Edition Mustang series in honor of the work done on tuning conditional 10 000 cars.

As a donor, the GT version of the Mustang with a five-liter V-shaped “eight” was used, the output of which was increased to 808 hp. and 918 Nm of torque. In this configuration, the muscle car accelerates from zero to 96 km / h in 3.3 seconds and passes a quarter mile in 10.7 seconds, accelerating to 212 km / h. The maximum speed of the sports coupe exceeds 322 km/h.

The appearance of the special version of the Mustang from Hennessey is based on the supercar of the Ford GT Heritage Edition. The tuned Mustang will not be an exclusive for the United States market – the atelier takes orders for a novelty around the world. The car receives a whole range of technical upgrades, including a more powerful supercharger, a new intercooler, an understated sports suspension and 20-inch wheels, shod in the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The tuning program also includes a number of carbon body parts, a stainless steel exhaust system and Brembo brakes, however, as an option. In total, 19 such cars will be produced and each will have to make 200 test miles (322 km) to check whether everything works as it should. The upgraded cars will be given a 3 year warranty or 36,000 miles of mileage (almost 58,000 km).

Hennessey already takes orders for the Heritage Edition Mustang in the US – the starting price of 89,950 dollars.
