Hennessey Upgrades Ford Bronco SUVOctober 29, 2020
Atelier Hennessey announced that it will offer a modified version of the Ford Bronco, which will receive the Velociraptor prefix.
So, the tuners will equip the SUV with a 5.0-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 750 hp, with which a 10-speed transmission will work. That’s a pretty significant boost considering the model’s original engine – the 2.7-liter V6 EcoBoost – develops 310 hp. According to the tuning company, the Bronco Velociraptor will be able to accelerate to 96 km / h in 4.5 seconds.
In addition to the new engine, Hennessey will equip its Bronco with a new hood with air intake, high-precision air induction and an upgraded fuel system, as well as a stainless steel exhaust system.
The company is also upgrading the suspension and installing larger wheels and tires. The car, in particular, will get new front and rear bumpers with LED lighting. In the cabin, in turn, the appearance of high-quality leather upholstery is expected.
Hennessey redesigns cars with both 2-door and 4-door bodies. It is noted that the modified car will be covered by a three-year warranty or 36,000 miles (57,000 km), whichever comes first. It should be said that the studio is going to build only 24 copies of the Velociraptor at a cost of $ 225,000 each.
In addition, more recently, officials from the American corporation Ford announced that robots will not be able to fully replace humans in the production of cars for at least the next few years. They even cited facts to support this claim.
