Hennessey unveils upgraded Ram pickupJanuary 20, 2021
Specialists of the Texas studio Hennessey have developed their own project based on the Ram 1500 TRX pickup truck, which was named Mammoth.
So far, the studio has published only one render of the upcoming pickup, judging by which it will receive a 2.5-inch lift on new 20-inch original wheels, a front bar with new LED lighting and brand logos on the windshield, lower area of the driver’s door and hood. All this is part of the so-called Mammoth Off-Road Stage 1 package, for this reason it is quite possible that in the future the tuning company will release a more aggressive version of the kit or even an additional kit.
Texas tuners uprated the Hellcat’s 6.2-liter V8 supercharged engine to 1,012 hp. (1314 Nm), whereas earlier it developed 702 hp. (881 Nm). The atelier said that improved performance was achieved by installing an upgraded supercharger, a new pulley, stainless steel manifolds and an improved exhaust system. Speaking of dynamic performance, the Mammoth can accelerate to 96 km / h in 3.2 seconds, while the standard model takes 4.5 seconds to accelerate to the same speed.
It is worth saying that Hennessey plans to build only 200 copies of the Mammoth, the cost of each of which will be $ 135,350.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that Hennessey is modernizing the Ford Bronco SUV. It should be emphasized that a total of 24 units will be produced. modified Bronco at a price of $ 225,000
