Haval showed a new generation of crossover H6 in official photosJuly 7, 2020
New car market entry is getting closer. In addition to the pictures, company representatives shared some technical details regarding the new car.
Haval is preparing to start production and enter the market for the new generation of the H6. Sales of new items should begin closer to the end of this summer. Despite the rapidly growing new models, the Haval H6 is the brand’s most popular car worldwide. Outwardly, the car has changed very seriously – it gets a new design of the radiator grill with a large number of cells, the headlights are narrowed and look very expressive, and the image combining the lights into a monoblock completes the image of the rear.
The new generation Haval H6 is built on a new platform – this not only increased the dimensions of the cross, but also made the body tougher and safer. The dimensions of the new items are 4653x1886x1730 mm with a wheelbase of 2 738 mm. The car’s interior looks more modern – the central panel has been completely redesigned, we note the appearance of a sports steering wheel, a fully digital dashboard, as well as a swivel washer instead of the classic gearshift lever.
The engine range will consist of two power units – the 1.5-liter turbo engine with a output of 169 hp will become the youngest, and under the hood of the top version there will be a 2.0-liter engine with a power of 224 hp
In tandem with engines, there is a 7-speed dual-clutch “robot”. In the basic version, the new Haval H6 relies on a front-wheel drive system, and all-wheel drive modification is possible for a surcharge. Pre-production samples are already being assembled at a factory in China.
