Haval H6 second generation will be updated and renamed M7January 17, 2021
Recall that the third generation of the popular Haval crossover debuted in the middle of last year. At the same time, they decided to modernize the second generation.
Chinese auto giant Haval has decided to upgrade its second generation H6 car. Photos of the updated crossover have already been published by the Ministry of Industry of China. The decision to upgrade the vehicle rather than completely discontinue production was made on the basis of successful sales.
The car proved to be very reliable, and the price was not so high. It is already known that after the update, the car should be named M7. On the pictures obtained, you can find a number of differences from the pre-reform version. So, the novelty will get a new radiator grill, a modified design of bumpers and a different design of optics.
In terms of technical equipment, they did not change anything, which looks quite logical. The engine range consists of two power units, both turbocharged. The first, with a 1.5-liter volume, is capable of delivering 169 hp, and a 2.0-liter turbo engine has a capacity of 224 hp.
Depending on the selected configuration, the 6-speed manual transmission or the proprietary 7-band “robot” will be combined with the power plant.
All-wheel drive is available as an option. Nothing is known about the pricing policy of the updated crossover – most likely they will try to keep it at the same level.
