Harley-Davidson Pan America 2021 Presented at EICMA 2019November 10, 2019
Earlier, Harley-Davidson marketers said they would introduce several new models by the end of 2020. Many were waiting for their premiere at the EICMA 2019 exhibition, but only two prototypes were shown at it, one of them was the Harley-Davidson Pan America tourist enduro.
It is expected that it will go on sale in two years. There is not much information about him. Harley-Davidson Pan America built around a 1250-cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine, developing about 143 horsepower.
At the moment, there is no information regarding the equipped weight of the motorcycle, however, the new engine is the main bearing element to which the frame is directly bolted. A large fuel tank is installed, which obviously will not be less than 23 liters. The novelty itself looks quite heavy. All these factors indicate that the motorcycle will not be able to boast of a good equipped mass.
However, the prototype Harley-Davidson Pan America has a semi-active suspension, Brembo brakes and a full TFT dashboard – this is a technological breakthrough for the American motorcycle manufacturer.
In fact, the claimed technical characteristics of the motorcycle are poorly believed, but if they correspond to the real ones, then Harley-Davidson Pan America will certainly be in excellent demand among customers if the company does not overstate its cost.
We previously reported that the production of Harley-Davidson’s first LiveWire electric cycle was halted. The reason lies in the problem with the two-wheeled vehicle charging system.
