Acura Motorsports Introduces Enhanced NSX GT3 Racing – Evo.
Every motor racing enthusiast knows: GT3 racing is incredibly popular today in every corner of the globe. In Europe, the highest point for this technique is the Blancpain GT Series Championship. But there Acura is not represented. But this gap is fully compensated by a decent application NSX GT3 on overseas racing tracks – in North America.
The new NSX GT3 Evo has a redesigned body designed to reduce air resistance at high speeds. The cooling system was also improved and controllability improved.
The car was equipped with new high-performance turbochargers that will improve the response to pressing the gas pedal. Among other things, it will increase profitability, which will be very useful in endurance racing. Acura NSX GT3 Evo finalized the installation of a new anti-lock system and a data acquisition complex.
The malicious device received a new front splitter, a different diffuser and, in principle, the rear bumper was modified. Quite simple improvements led to a number of positive changes: the cooling of the power plant was improved, the handling was perfected to the ideal, and an increase in aerodynamic efficiency also appeared.
Recall that the first prototype NSX GT3 was shown in 2016, and the car began to officially compete in the 2017 season. The Japanese made their main bet at the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, the most prestigious sports car championship in the United States. The coupe turned out to be very competitive, and now we see that the NSX GT3, after two successful years in racing, did even better, even more perfect. Acura NSX GT3 has evolved, and hence the Evo in the name.
