Gymkhana 10: Ken Block Tires Burning World TourDecember 18, 2018
American racer and stuntman Ken Block presented the tenth edition of his Gymkhana show. In the anniversary part called The Ultimate Tire Slaying Tour, five drift cars were involved at once, and the shooting took place in five different locations around the world.
The tenth series of “Dzhimkhany” became the largest part in the entire history of the project. The release was filmed in the north of Sweden, in Mexico, as well as in Detroit, Los Angeles and on the US 66 highway in Texas.
The famous 1400 all-wheel-drive Hoonicorn took part in the racing show, as well as several brand-new cars, including the 1991 Ford Escort Cosworth, prepared in accordance with the requirements of the rally group A. The final drift at the auto dump in Texas is performed on a Hoonitruck pickup with a 927-horsepower engine.
In addition to Ken Block himself, the cars are driven by the famous American pilot Travis Pastrana, as well as the 16-year-old Norwegian racer Oliver Solberg. Plus, television stars in the face of Rob Derdek and Aaron Kaufman were invited.
