The Chinese concern has distributed pictures of a prototype created on the basis of the Tank 300 frame off-road vehicle recently launched into mass production. The car was named Cybertank, an allusion to the cyberpunk style.

The new body kit from Great Wall includes massive bumpers, wide wheel arch extensions, an air intake on the hood lid, and a spoiler. The roof has been raised due to a plastic lining, an additional light has been installed, and low-profile wheels with an increased diameter have been used. The standard lighting technology is complemented by daytime running lights made up of LED strips in the radiator grille and bumper corners, and a rectangular spare wheel is mounted on the tailgate instead of the spare wheel.

The interior of the SUV is trimmed with white leather, climate control vents, buttons on the steering wheel, center tunnel and door cards, as well as handles are made with a chrome effect, combined with gloss black inserts. Cybertank’s dashboard is completely electronic, next to it is the display of the multimedia complex.

Under the hood, the Cybertank has a standard 2.0-liter GW E20CB turbo engine that produces 227 hp. power and 387 Nm of torque. The motor is aggregated with an 8-speed automatic transmission ZF and a part-time all-wheel drive system. The transfer case is of the BorgWarner brand, there is a locking of the front and rear cross-axle differentials. Both suspensions are spring-loaded, the front is independent, the rear is dependent, with a continuous axle.

In terms of the chassis and units, the machine is unified with the well-known Haval H9 in Russia. Both models are based on the GW P01 frame platform. The public premiere of Cybertank will take place at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 19. The creation of the show car is timed to coincide with the launch of Tank as a separate brand.
