GMC revised trim options for updated Canyon pickupFebruary 3, 2020
There is so far unconfirmed information that the list of available trim levels for the GMC Canyon 2020 model year truck has been revised.
The American mid-size pickup truck GMC Canyon 2020 model year has undergone many changes, given that this is not a new generation of the model, but only its next update. The biggest change was the introduction of the Canyon AT4, which makes the car more suitable for overcoming off-road. The new version replaces the previous All Terrain.
But the changes did not end there – the American automaker decided to significantly change the configuration options for his pickup. According to reports from undisclosed sources, which allegedly have access to internal information from the automaker, the structure and name of the GMC Canyon trim levels will change over the next model year.
This means that the traditional division of trim levels into SL, SLE, SLT and Denali will no longer be relevant. Now, the model will be available in the following versions – Elevation Standard, Elevation, AT4 and Denali.
Thus, the basic package for the mid-size pickup will be the Elevation Standard. Well, the performance of the SLT model will be completely removed from the price lists. The truck in the Denali version will be the most expensive version of the car. It is known that in this version a revised false radiator grille will appear, which will have a “more sculptural, multi-layer pattern.”
It is worth noting that the information that the GMC Canyon 2020 model year pickup truck will receive a modified list of available trim levels is not official at the time of this writing. But if this is still true, then most likely the press service of the American automaker will announce this in the coming months.
