Atelier Hennessey has prepared a set of Goliath 700 for the truck Sierra Denali

The American bureau Hennessey presented the GMC Sierra pickup modernization project in the top version of Denali. The tuners are ready to seriously work on the engine and cooling system, increase ground clearance by 152 millimeters, replace regular wheels, brakes, bumpers, hood and exhaust, and alter the interior.

The pride of Hennessey Performance is the refinement of the engine. After installing a 2.9-liter supercharger, replacing the camshaft and cam followers, flashing the electronic control unit, the appearance of a custom exhaust system and correcting the cooling system, the output of the 6.2-liter V8 increases from 426 to 710 horsepower.

In addition, the studio is ready to work on the off-road potential of the truck: an elevated suspension and “toothy” 35-inch Toyo R / T tires allow you to increase pickup clearance – from the ground to the bottom of the Goliath 700 GMC Sierra more than 37 centimeters!

The geometric cross-country ability of the SUV does not prevent the pickup from being fast on the pavement: the 710-horsepower GMC Sierra accelerates from zero to 96 kilometers per hour in 4.3 seconds – comparable to the dynamics of a Toyota Supra GR with a three-liter engine.

For safety, the factory front brakes have been replaced with 381mm Brembo perforated discs. In addition to the above, a Hennessey pickup can be distinguished by power bumpers, a hood, bodybuilder logos and special retractable steps. The interior can be custom-tailored, but Hennessey Goliath inscriptions on the front seats and contrasting stitching remain unchanged.

Transforming the “regular” GMC Sierra Denali into the Hennessey Goliath 700 is very expensive. Engine boosting costs $ 26,950, an off-road package – $ 14,950. A complete set of improvements without taking into account the cost of the pickup itself will cost $ 74,850 – for this amount in the United States you can buy a new Ford F-150 Raptor in a rich configuration. For comparison, the base GMC Sierra Denali is estimated at 54,700 dollars.

Despite the impressive price, demand for Hennessey projects is very high. Atelier manager John Hennessy emphasizes that the company offers turnkey completion, running-in of ready-made pickups, provides data from a dynamometer, and also gives a guarantee of three years or 58 thousand kilometers for its products.
