GMC Canyon pickup truck received off-road version for outdoor recreationJanuary 14, 2020
The AT4 version received a more brutal appearance with vivid accents and a suspension retuned for off-road use.
The family of GMC Canyon pickups joined the AT4 off-road version, designed for outdoor enthusiasts. The novelty can be distinguished from other current versions of Canyon by the new overall radiator grille, dark chrome exterior decor and red towing hinges. Also new are 17-inch aluminum wheels, special “toothy” Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac tires, a retuned suspension, additional transfer case protection, etc. The drive is full with an automatically locked rear differential Eaton G80, which allows the pickup to feel confident on any road. Assistance to the driver on difficult terrain will be provided by the modernized descent assistance system.
The cost of the GMC Canyon AT4 manufacturer promises to announce closer to the start of sales. But the line of affordable engines is known: customers will be able to choose a gasoline 3.6-liter “six” with a capacity of 312 hp. or a 2.8-liter 183-horsepower diesel. Six or eight-speed gearboxes act as transmissions.
Auto salon declassified less detailed. We only know about the contrasting stitching of Kalahari and the special embroidery on the head restraints of the seats with the name of the off-road version AT4.
