GMC Acadia updated crossover will get a 2.0-liter turbo engineFebruary 18, 2019
The crossover GMC Acadia 2020 model year will be available this fall, mass production will be launched at the assembly plant of the GM concern. The American novelty will also be available in a more powerful version of AT4.
The American brand GMC has presented an updated version of the full-size crossover Acadia 2020 model year. In addition to the updated appearance, the novelty has many changes inside, along with the new turbocharged engine and off-road configuration AT4.
In front of the model, an updated false radiator grille appeared, on the sides of which there is a standard LED optics with branded C-shaped headlights and taillights. The off-road version of the AT4 has a more aggressive exterior design, which is emphasized by a black chrome trim and sporty dark interior with contrasting accents.
Under the hood of the novelty is a brand new 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, designed for a maximum power of 230 hp. (torque 350 Nm).
There will also be offered a 2.5-liter inline “four” and a powerful 3.6-liter V6. The new power unit uses active fuel control (cylinder shutdown), which shuts off two cylinders under low load conditions to optimize fuel consumption. This new engine is standard on the SLT and Denali.
In addition to the new engine, a new nine-speed transmission will be supplied, which will now be standard for all Acadia 2020 crossover variants.
