GM decided to part with the cars from the movies about TransformersJanuary 4, 2019
The money that will be earned from the sale of all the cars that took part in the filming of films about extraterrestrial robots Autobots and deseptikons, will be fully spent on charity. Cars will be sold by a set of four pieces – they will get only one owner.
Perhaps there is no such person who didn’t like at least one Transformers movie. These are robots from a distant Cybertron planet, which have the ability to take on the appearance of anything – from household appliances to cool cars. I myself love this series of films. In the first part of Transformers, there is an episode where a kind robot from the Autobot tribe, his name is Balbambi, having initially chosen the form of a small Volkswagen Beetle turns into a cool sports car Chevrolet Camaro.
In particular, the owner of the “extraterrestrial” copy of the American sports coupe Chevrolet Camaro and offer to become the guys from the concern General Motors.
Scottsdale (USA) was chosen as the venue for the auction. According to official data, the cars sold took part in the filming of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon, Transformers: The Era of Disappearance, and Transformers: The Last Knight.
It is reported that it is planned to sell cars with a set of four copies, and this very set will get only one person. All proceeds from the sale of funds will be spent on charity. At the moment, nothing is known about the prices (even approximate) for these not quite ordinary cars.
Not long ago, our automobile publication wrote that the concern General Motors recalls new pickups Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra.
