Giugiaro will present electric sedan concept at the Geneva Motor ShowJanuary 28, 2018
A teaser image of the concept car was published by GFG Style, owned by the master’s son.
Famous car designer Giorgetto Giugiaro intends to present to the public at the international automobile exhibition in Geneva in early March the concept of an electric sedan, developed by him together with the Chinese company Envision.
“We will present the concept with the possibilities of autonomous driving. New technologies allow you to get rid of the classic steering wheel, but I could not bring myself to do it. We also offer unique and innovative solutions for the ergonomics of the salon, “said Giugiaro in an interview with Automotive News Europe.
The sedan uses energy management technology from the company Envision. It provides connection to a wide energy ecosystem that will in real time capture and analyze data to monitor the generation, storage and consumption of electricity by the car.
The new concept will be the second project for the new company GFG Style, which is controlled by Georgetto Fabrizio Giugiaro – the son of the legendary designer. And the master himself this year will turn 80 years old. The first project of GFG Style was the electric 1287-hp Ren supercar for the Chinese start-up Techrules. He was presented at last year’s Geneva auto show.
