German tuners Arden built the Jaguar XE with the dynamics of the BMW M3May 31, 2018
German tuning studio Arden presented a charged sedan AJ 24 RS, built on the basis of the Jaguar XE S. Novelty received a number of improvements to the power unit, a modified appearance and dynamics at the level of the BMW M3. The price of the car is 98 500 euros
After the intervention of specialists Arden, the output of the three-liter compressor six increased from 380 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque to 463 forces and 583 Nm. To do this, I had to replace the exhaust system, rewrite the engine management program and modify the supercharger.
Acceleration from the place to 100 kilometers per hour from the AJ 24 RS takes 4.3 seconds (like the BMW M3 with a manual transmission) – the original car requires five seconds. The maximum speed is not reported, but it is above 250 kilometers per hour.
In addition to the upgraded engine, the AJ 24 RS has a new front and rear bumper, front spoiler, bonnet with ventilation slots, side skirts, extended wheel arches and 20-inch wheels.
The AJ 24 RS sedan was not able to surpass the Jaguar factory design – the hardcore XE SV Project 8. The sedan built by the Special Vehicle Operations factory is equipped with a five-liter V8 compressor engine that produces 600 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. Up to 100 km/h the car accelerates in 3.5 seconds.
