Volkswagen was the most popular brand in Germany last year.
Experts from an analytical agency shared data on sales of new cars in Germany in 2019. In total, official dealers were able to sell 3.6 million new cars, which is 5% better than in 2018. In the model ranking, four of the five leading places are occupied by Volkswagen cars. The most popular model is the Golf with a result of 204,550 cars sold.
The second position goes to Volkswagen Tiguan, which sold 87 771 units. Closes the TOP-3 compact Mercedes-Benz C-Class with an indicator of 64,403 pcs. In the fourth and fifth positions are two sedans from Volkswagen – Polo (61,287 units) and Passat (59,322 units).
