While the company was in no hurry to enter the local market, waiting for the appearance of a line of crossovers. The information was obtained from preliminary documents of the organizers of the Geneva Motor Show, where in March 2020 the participation of a South Korean company was announced.

In addition, accurate, and even approximate, information about the start date of sales has not yet been announced. Earlier this year, Hyundai Marketing Director Cho Won Hong said this could happen in a couple of years.

So far, Genesis is represented in the markets of the USA, Canada, South Korea, as well as in Australia and the Middle East. The premium brand plans to release two SUVs in the next two years – the GV70 and GV80, as well as an all-electric sedan in 2021.

Meanwhile, the new Genesis GV70 continues to overgrow with details. By the year 2021, Hyundai’s premium sub-brand is planning to expand its lineup by offering customers six car models at once.
