The South Korean premium brand has revealed when it unveils its second Genesis GV70 crossover. On its YouTube channel, the automaker posted a video showing the novelty itself and disclosing the date of its debut.

Tuesday, December 8th, will be a busy day in terms of the number of new cars on display. On this day, there will be three new crossovers debuts, although, ironically, we’ve actually seen them all before. We have already reported on the debut of the updated Acura MDX, Nissan also announced that it will show the 2021 Kicks crossover on the same day. Now it became known that the official presentation of the premium crossover Genesis GV70 will also take place on December 8.

In typical Genesis fashion, the news of this was not spread in the usual way.

The automaker has posted a series of very short teaser videos showing the GV70 driving through open countryside, with the exception of the one we showed above where it crosses the bridge. Each video ends with text that shows the date December 8, 2020. Curiously, the YouTube descriptions for these videos simply say that the GV70 is coming soon.

The GV70 is striking in terms of design, to say the least, as its exterior incorporates separate front and rear optics, adding a curved rear end with a C-pillar and an unusual rear window, while not unlike the iconic Porsche 928. The car clearly won’t get lost. in the general stream.

Of course, the striking visuals are only part of the new GV70. We have yet to learn about its standard and optional features, the composition of the engine range and how it behaves on the road.
