Genesis GV70 Korean crossover revealedOctober 29, 2020
Genesis has shared official images of the upcoming Genesis GV70 crossover.
It is worth mentioning that the GV70 is the second SUV in the Korean brand’s lineup after the GV80. Judging by the images, the novelty bears a resemblance to the updated G70 sedan. It is worth saying that the GV70 is slightly sharper than the GV80, thanks to the unusual C-pillar and vertical exhaust pipes. Genesis also showed off the GV70 Sport, which features darkened details and oval tailpipes.
The cabin has a 14.5-inch touchscreen located above the dashboard (like the GV80) and a 12.3-inch digital dashboard. The GV70 will also receive lighting around the air conditioner.
Although the Korean brand does not publish information about the technical equipment of the model, it is already known that the new product will be offered as standard with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine from the GV80 and an optional 3.5-liter 6-cylinder engine with a capacity of about 375 hp.
Recall that the official premiere of Genesis GV70 should take place before the end of this year.
In addition, it was recently reported that the South Korean automaker Genesis will not produce cars that have hybrid powertrains. It should be emphasized that this is due to the fact that the Korean brand will immediately start producing electric cars.
