Genesis GV70 is preparing to enter the marketJune 6, 2020
It seems that Genesis is preparing serious competition for popular options in the segment of crossovers such as the BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC and Audi Q5.
Thanks to his high-profile hits with an impressive appearance, luxury and a lot of technology, Genesis has firmly established itself as a serious threat to more reputable companies. Last year, we met with a new model that was heavily disguised, while the latest spy photos give a better look at the GV70.
In the latest photos you can see dual headlights, unique exhaust tips, which in their appearance seem to be approaching the final prototypes. We also get an idea of how the taillights look, and it seems that the previously published renders look pretty close to reality. If you believe the rendering, the GV70 will be a great SUV, and BMW and Mercedes need to beware.
Genesis calls its design language Athletic Elegance. It is known that designers come up with strange names for their individual styles, but in this case, the name of the design fits perfectly. Lee Sang-Yop, head of design, says that “if the G80 has a 50:50 ratio of elegance to dynamics, then the G70 has 70% dynamism and 30% elegance.”
It is still unknown whether this means that the GV70 can get a “charged” version in order to once compete with the BMW X3 M Competition. We will have to wait and see, but one thing is certain: Korean cars are a real discovery.
- Koreans have created a battery that will provide a range of 1000 km
- Images of a futuristic Suzuki car appeared on the network
- BMW M3 station wagon spotted in tests
