Genesis G70 van spotted on testsOctober 7, 2020
Motor1 photo spies were able to capture a Genesis G70 van in the Austrian Alps.
Judging by the photos, the new Korean premium brand has a dense camouflage. Recall that the G70 model should receive a revised grille, as well as headlights and taillights, like the G80 sedan and the GV80 crossover. In turn, the van will adhere to the traditional Genesis style with a sloping roof, which, of course, will affect the volume of the luggage compartment.
It is assumed that the G70 van will receive the same engine as the sedan model. That is, the engine lineup will be represented by a 290-horsepower 2.5-liter turbo engine and a 365-horsepower 3.3-liter twin-turbo engine. As a transmission, they will offer exclusively an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Based on Genesis’s plans to enter the European market next year, it can be expected that a diesel engine will appear in the G70 van engine range, since in Europe mainly models in such a body are offered with diesel units.
In addition, it was recently noted that the South Korean company Genesis hints at the return of the performance sedan G80 Sport. It should be emphasized that the official representative of the Korean brand spoke about this.
