Genesis brings new items to EuropeJanuary 28, 2021
The Korean premium brand Genesis has redefined its sales strategy for the European market.
Genesis has developed a new strategy for its European division, Genesis Motor Europe, whereby the brand will begin selling the G70, G70 Shooting Brake, G80, and the new GV70 and GV80 SUVs. It should be noted that previously only one model of the brand was presented in Europe and the level of sales was very low.
In the first half of the year, the refreshed Genesis G70 and its Shooting Brake version will arrive in Europe, classified as a strategic model adapted to the tastes of European consumers who value the practicality and driving performance of station wagons.
The G70 station wagon, which will challenge rival models such as the BMW 3-series Touring, Mercedes C-Class and Audi A4 Avant, features Genesis signature twin-tier headlights and three petrol and diesel powertrains.
The partially modified G70, which was unveiled in Korea last month, received the same 2.0-liter, 3.3-liter turbo petrol and 2.2-liter diesel engines as before, but no information on the installed powertrain for export. there was no model.
Export models are known to also come with the same powertrain as the domestic specs, but local media outlets, including Germany, are forecasting the possibility of launching new turbo petrol engines with the 2.5 and 3.5 liter Smartstream specifications found in the Stinger and G80. Genesis is said to increase its competitiveness by applying the latest powertrain to export models.
