Genesis and Hyundai Sonata 2020 crossovers make their debut in 2019January 3, 2019
Hyundai Company actively replenishes and updates its model line. In 2019, Hyundai-Kia will present at least 13 new or updated models.
In fact, the premium brand Genesis is already late for entry into the crossover segment. But now it is expected that the company at the end of this year will still present its first SUV. In his address to the staff on the first day of the New Year, Hyundai Motor Group, Euisun Chung, confirmed that the first premium sports sport utility vehicle will appear in the next 12 months.
According to preliminary information, the future SUV will be built on the platform used for the new G80 sedan. Under the hood in the top version can be a 5.0-liter V8 turbo engine, working with the automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Another expected novelty is the Hyundai Sonata 2020 model year. The model is expected to replace the generation and enter the global market with the new corporate “language” of the Hyundai Fluidic Sculpture 3.0 design. The wagon will also be released, but later will be presented only in Europe.
The two long-awaited debuts will become part of a massive breakthrough that Hyundai-Kia conglomerate is planning for 2019. The automaker, currently the fifth largest in the world, sold 7.39 million vehicles last year, without reaching its target of 7.55 million sales.
