GM has showcased Cadillac electric flying cars and shuttles. The virtual demo took place at CES. Against this backdrop, GM shares at their peak rose to $ 48.95 (up 8.75%).
According to GM chief designer Michael Simcoe, Cadillac shuttles will acquire special biometric sensors that can read the vital signs of passengers in order to regulate, for example, temperature or light.
As you can see from the demonstration, only one person can be in a flying car. Such transport will have the ability to take off and land vertically. At the same time, it is noted that Cadillac is creating a luxury 2-seater car that can operate on a battery.
The GM Corporation, in particular, during the presentation announced that it had launched a new business – BrightDrop, which will be engaged in the production of electric vehicles, software and the provision of services aimed at improving logistics. It is worth mentioning that BrightDrop will be producing EV600 electric trucks. Recall that General Motors is the largest American auto company, which was founded in 1908. Production is established in 35 countries, and sales are carried out in 192 countries. The corporate headquarters is located in Detroit.
In addition, some time ago it was noted that the American concern General Motors will be engaged in the development of the military business with a new division. It should be emphasized that the corporation is counting on a $ 25 billion market to develop new military products based on existing models.
