General Motors and China-based automaker SAIC have launched an inexpensive crossover wagon called the Baojun Valli. This novelty will be a direct rival to the Czech Skoda Octavia.

The collection of applications for a foreign car began in mid-spring. In June, the debut batch of production cars arrived at the dealerships of the brand. The official start of sales is scheduled for June 10, 2021.

The Baojun Valli is considered a slightly updated version of the Baojun RC-5W. At the same time, the model has an increased ground clearance, cosmetic transformations and an expanded list of equipment.

The wagon came out in length by 4685 mm. The width is 1,806 mm, the height is 1,458 mm. There are 2,700 mm between the wheels. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.5-liter unit with 147 horsepower. In tandem with it, there is a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable CVT variator. For one hundred kilometers, the novelty spends from 6.2 liters of gasoline.

The arsenal of possibilities includes: the ESP stabilization option, manual air conditioning or climate system, an electronic instrument panel, a multimedia system with an enlarged touchscreen display, video cameras with 360-degree visibility and a panoramic roof.
