The new low-cost liftback Baojun RC-5 from General Motors and SAIC revealed its last secret. Fans of the brand got acquainted with the appearance of the novelty two weeks ago, but intrigue remained with the interior of the car.
Budget liftback Baojun RC-5, built on a modern modular R-platform, is fully declassified. His main rival is expected to be the Czech model Skoda Octavia. The manufacturer, who revealed the appearance of the novelty in the middle of the month, finally allowed fans to look into the car’s interior. Official photos of the interior of the Baojun RC-5 can already be found on the Web. Judging by the images, the novelty will get a stylish front panel, a virtual dashboard, visually combined with a multimedia touchscreen, as well as a two-spoke steering wheel with a bar.
In length, the Chinese liftback reaches 4,650 mm with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The only new one and a half liter 147-horsepower turbo engine, combined with a 6MKPP or a variator, sets in motion. Among the equipment available for Baojun RC-5, there are two airbags, ABS and ESP, as well as rear parking sensors.
In the maximum configuration, a leather interior, a digital dashboard, circular video surveillance cameras, a panoramic roof with a sunroof and much more appear.
