Geely unveils new electric sedan GE-11January 15, 2019
As we have repeatedly reported, the Chinese concern continues to actively attack the international market. The new electric car is another step towards gaining its own market share.
The press service of the Chinese giant Geely presented the first information about the new electric vehicle. The car, tentatively named GE-11 is declassified in official photos. The peculiarity of the model is that it was developed by an international team, taking into account the characteristics of the car, which is preparing to enter the markets of many countries.
The company decided to develop a completely new design language for a completely new line, which will include exclusively electric cars of various segments. For the time being, we are being offered a look at the first teaser showing the silhouette of a car standing on the charge in a dark entourage. Many details can not be considered, but it is clear that the model is executed in a fast-moving style with a coupe-like body.
Like most Chinese cars, this one is distinguished by clear signs of “environmental friendliness”. His blue DRLs simply “scream” about electrification. This also demonstrates the complete absence of the grille. But the presence of the flap on the rear left wing remains a mystery. Judging by the teaser, the car is already charging and the charging connector is on the right side. We will consider this a flaw of artists.
While the technical details are unknown, but the debut of the model is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019, which means the wait is not long.
In the meantime, Geely’s big budget has “huge” plans for Lotus. After the Chinese concern bought a British company of supercars, almost no changes occurred.
