The Chinese brand Geely officially unveiled the new Icon crossover, which was created together with the Swedish company Volvo. More recently, the debut “live” pictures of the model appeared on the Internet.

It should be mentioned that the car is built on the basis of a prototype presented at the Beijing Motor Show in 2018. The novelty has some similar features of the exterior and interior with the concept.

So, the new “SUV” received a “two-story” optics, a “soaring” roof, original stampings on the side of the body, as well as modern retractable door handles in flagship variations.

  The novelty is based on the BMA architecture, which was developed by Volvo specialists. The dimensions of the crossover are as follows: the length is 4350 mm, the width is 1810 mm, the height is 1615, and the distance between the axles is 2640 mm. The SUV has a non-alternative 1.5-liter gas turbo engine with a capacity of 177 hp. from the Volvo XC40. Together with the motor work “robot” with double clutch and front-wheel drive.

  In the model line of the brand, the car will take a place lower than Boyue, which in the PRC costs 98,800 yuan.
