The Chinese brand distributed several fresh sketches of a new version of its flagship sedan.

At home, the brand four-door sedanis sold as Borui or GC9, in the summer of last year the model was refreshed. And soon the home market will also have a “exported” version, which will receive the name of the prefix GT. Let’s note, at us the pre-reform sedan is known under the name Emgrand.

The first official image of the new version of the Chinese version of the flagship manufacturer published a few days ago. Now on the web there are pictures with a stern and optics Borui GT. From the standard sedan version “under the sport” differs form of the grille, bumpers and the presence of LED headlights. The rear lights have a different pattern.

According to preliminary data, the length of the Geely Borui GT is increased by 30 mm compared to the standard model – this figure for the novelty is 4,986 mm. Also the wheelbase grew – 2,870 mm (+20 mm). The other dimensions are the same: width – 1 861 mm, height – 1 513 mm.

It is expected that the Borui GT will be a rechargeable hybrid, the power plant will include a 179-horsepower gasoline turbo engine 1.5 and a seven-speed transmission with a double clutch. A conventional sedan in the China can be bought with a modernized petrol turbo engine 1.8 (recoil increased from 163 to 184 hp) and gasoline engine with capacity of 2.4 (162 hp), both combined with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The premiere of a new version of the Geely sedan will take place in China in the near future. There is no information as to whether such modifications will reach other markets.
